LEGO MOC “Zane’s Snowmobile”

I have not put out a blog post recently because I have been building many other MOCs that I will put out. This LEGO MOC is from Ninjago! Zane is the one of the six ninjas (Cole, Kai, Nya, Lloyd, Jay, Zane) in the TV show Ninjago. Each ninja posses an elemental power and Zane’s is ice. In the early seasons of Ninjago, the original four ninja (Cole, Kai, Jay, Zane) each possessed one of the four “Golden Weapons” which had special powers according to the ninja’s elemental power. But also in the show if the ninja concentrates enough their weapon can turn into a vehicle or jet. Zane’s golden weapon was the “Shurikens of Ice”. His shurikens could turn into a snowmobile! Ok enough of that, now I will explain this MOC. For this build I used some parts of the instructions for the real set but most of it was my own. The end result looks uncanny to the real set! It features a ski on the front, a wheel in the back, a handle that a LEGO minifigure can hold, a place for the minifigure to sit, and the same front and back look like the actual set.

LEGO Racing Buggy MOC

I built this Racing Buggy MOC because I found out I don’t have any LEGO sets that are car models! So I decided to make a cool buggy with suspension! The hardest part on this MOC was making the suspension system! When I finished it the suspension combined LEGO Technic pieces and two rubber bands. When I press down on the buggy the suspension activates and the buggy goes down then back up! I thought that was really cool. My buggy features four wheels that allow the buggy to move, the suspension system, a driver’s seat and a wheel for controlling the buggy, and finally an awesome race car look. I really liked this build because it gave me an engineering challenge to figure out!

LEGO Separatist anti-aircraft Turret MOC

The anti-aircraft turret is what the Separatists used in Star Wars the “Clone Wars”. I built this MOC because I have taken an interest in building LEGO turrets and cannons! This turret features four laser cannons, a swiveling base to move the turret, and a up-and-down feature so the turret can shoot targets above and below! I really liked the look of this turret once I finished it. It looked like the real thing covering every single feature plus an added four legs to support the turret (that was my idea).

LEGO Exo-suit/ Mech

This build is kind of a MOC. My LEGO Exo-suit/Mech design is mostly from Cole’s Mech from LEGO set 71699 in LEGO Ninjago. But I added some of my own features. Mine features a sword and a flame thrower on one arm, a claw on the other arm which opens and closes, and a strap which looks different from the original, it also can open and close. The strap makes the minifigure stay put in the mech. Both arms and legs move in all directions thanks to LEGO ball joints! I like that this mech combines features that are from a real LEGO set and my own.

LEGO MOC BARC Speeder

The Biker Advanced Recon Commando (BARC) speeder is a speeder that was used by the Grand Army of the Republic. It was seen in the animated TV show “The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”. This versatile speeder is equipped with 2 blaster cannons and is piloted by one person. I built this MOC because it is my favorite speeder in Star Wars! This was an extremely short build so it was quite easy. Mine features two stud-firing cannons, a drivers seat and controls for piloting the speeder, two side engines, and a place to store a blaster. I really enjoyed this build and loved the cool end result!

LEGO MOC Vulture Droid

The Vulture Droid is a droid starship in the Separatist Army. The starship was seen in Star Wars “Revenge of the Sith” and in the animated television show “The Clone Wars”. The Vulture Droid had no pilot or cockpit, it is fully a droid! I decided to make this MOC because I like the flying and “walking” position of the droid, so I was really eager to make it. This was a very short build! My droid features a movable head which depicts the flying and walking mode, four flick-fire cannons, and the normal body and side wings. This is a very playable build!

LEGO MOC Carnotaurus

I love dinosaurs. I have always loved dinosaurs. I know a lot about dinosaurs. You get the point! This LEGO MOC is another one of my favorites because it involves two things that I am passionate about! LEGOs` and dinosaurs. One of my favorite dinosaurs is the Carnotaurus. Carnotaurus means “meat-eating bull”. So I decided to make a LEGO Carnotaurus. My model had to have a lot of articulation like in the legs, head, mouth, arms, and tail. The key part of making this MOC is using LEGO ball joints! Ball joints are great for making things move in many directions. When I finished this MOC I was REALLY happy with the end result! The Carnotaurus features the distinct horns on it’s head, openable mouth, legs that move in any direction, a perfectly sized and streamlined body, a tail that moves up and down, fierce angry fire-like eyes, and finally two arms that also move but are small because similar to the T-Rex the Carnotaurus has small arms. I really enjoyed building this one because it has so many play features!

LEGO MOC “Dinosaur Wrangler” Jeep

I made this type of MOC because lately I have been interested in making LEGO dinosaurs and seeing Jurassic World LEGO sets! So I decided to make a LEGO Jeep! The Jeep was featured in all of the Jurassic World/Park movies, so I decided to make my own. My MOC did not look exactly like the real Jeep so I decided to call it the “Dinosaur Wrangler” (the name maybe needs some work). I was very happy with the end result and thought it is cool since I added some of my own features to it. Mine sort-of looks like the original look of the Jeep featuring a windshield, two seats, wheels, a wheel for driving, front decorative headlights, a cool overall look, and decorative spikes or dinosaur teeth on the sides. This build was very short but I enjoyed it because it is a really awesome Jeep!

LEGO MOC Troop Transport Tank

This LEGO MOC was modeled after the UT-AT (Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport). I saw this awesome transport (which was used throughout the Clone Wars in Star Wars) and saw there was no LEGO set for it! There were some featured on LEGO IDEAS but they did not make the cut. So I decided to make my own!

My version does not look exactly like the UT-AT but it’s pretty close. This build was kind of hard for me because for the base of the transport I had to find a medium LEGO baseplate and I don’t have a lot in my LEGO bucket. Finally the end result was really cool in my opinion! The features on my version are quite similar to the UT-AT’s. It has a swivel cannon on the top, missile firing cannons on the sides that actually fire missiles, both sides of the transport are openable and closable, the front is also openable and closable, wheels on the bottom that make the transport move!, a good interior which can hold quite a lot of LEGO minifigures, and finally a driver’s seat with a handle to control the transport. I was really proud of the end result and happy that my MOC has a lot of movable parts. A kid can actually play with it!

LEGO MOC A-wing

This LEGO MOC was based off the design of the A-wing but most of it was my own spaceship design. I built this MOC using quite a lot of LEGO pieces! The only thing that was different between my sort-of A-wing and the real one is just the engines and laser cannons. My twin laser cannon is at the bottom of the ship and is movable and positionable, whereas the A-wing has two side cannons opposite each other on the sides of the ship. The engines are not that different to the A-wings’s, my version just has a longer distance between each other and has just a slightly different look. Overall at the end of this build I liked the design of my ship! My LEGO MOC features cool laser cannons, openable cockpit, engines, and a smooth overall look. I really enjoyed this build especially because I got to think up my version of a spaceship rather than making my design a full recreation of an actual LEGO set.
